It's still a Winter Wonderland out there!
Well the last week or so has certainly been eventful and full of surprises. I had to abandon a trip away when my flight was cancelled which was certainly disappointing and frustrating. I didn't let it get me down however, and instead made the most of the unexpected time at home to get organised, sort some things out and spend time doing things I don't normally find time to do. But isn't it interesting to see how different people cope with last minute changes to their plans? It's amazing how much people have been moaning and complaining instead of seeing the adverse weather as an opportunity to do something different. Don't get me wrong, I've now had enough of the inconvenience and want to be able to get my car out of the drive and make sure I can get to my meeting with a new client tomorrow. But you can't control the weather you can only control how you respond to what the weather brings. So I say, plan ahead, put a shovel, flask of tea, blanket and de-icer in the car, do as much as you can "virtually" and if despite your best efforts you still can't do what you had planned, enjoy the amazing scenery and maybe even take time out to build a snowman! You might find it gives you time to refresh your mind and recharge your batteries! Have a good week, Sarah
